Chalco to solve horizontal competition

Aluminum Corporation of China Limited of China will soon resolve horizontal competition in its pseudo boehmite and aluminum processing businesses by acquiring assets from its parent firm, state owned Aluminum Corporation of China.

Chalco has reportedly implemented various measures and eliminated the horizontal competition in aluminum production sector with parent group before. Its parent company gave a commitment that Chalco has the priori rights to purchase assets.

Chalco is the world’s second largest alumina producer and the material’s sole producer in China.
