According to China Custom’s report, China imported 11 million tonnes of alumina in May. The total alumina imports during January to May dropped by 57.2% to 94 million tonnes.
China imported 74,880 tonnes of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products in May and the imports were down by 11.0% to 395,895 tonnes from January to May.
China exported 70,413 tonnes of unwrought aluminum in May up by 3.5% to 289,504 tonnes from January to May compared to the same period.
