According to statistics from National Development & Reform Commission, China output of ten non-ferrous metals dropped 1.9%YoY to 2.69 million tonnes in this November. Output figure slumped 14.1% for electrolytic aluminum, gained 4.5% for copper, rose 29.5% for lead and increased 6.6% for zinc.
According to NDRC statistics, prices for major non-ferrous metals climbed from October. Average price recorded CNY 64,473 per tonne, CNY 16,428 per tonne and CNY 17,826 per tonne respectively for copper, electrolytic aluminum and lead, up 2.8%, 1.4% and 3.3% respectively from last month and up 24.1%YoY, 8.7%YoY and 12.4%YoY. Zinc price dropped 2.7%MoM yet rose 9.6%YoY to CNY 18,646 per tonne.
Total output of the ten non-ferrous metals amounted to 28.92 million tonnes during January to November increase of 18.9%YoY which is 15.5% more than a year earlier. Electrolytic aluminum output gained 22.6% to 14.36 million tons, compared with a 1.7% drop in the same period of last year. Output growths of copper, lead, zinc and alumina hit 12.6%, 9.2%, 21.8% and 24.8% respectively in the first eleven months.
