Shanghai Starts Bonded Delivery For Copper & Aluminum Futures

Capitalvue December 28 -- The Shanghai Futures Exchange started a pilot program on December 24 which allowed copper and aluminum at bonded warehouses at Shanghai's Yangshan port to be delivered against futures contracts, reports shfinancialnews.com.


According to the report, the adoption of bonded delivery will help to cut the costs of futures transactions in China and enhance China’s pricing power at the futures markets.
