Chalco unit teams up with Jiangxi Nonferrous Metal Survey Bureau on mineral pros

BEIJING, Nov. 24, 2010 （Xinhua News Agency） -- Chalco Mineral Resources has recently inked a cooperation agreement with the Jiangxi Nonferrous Metal Survey Bureau in Nanchang city, the capital of east China's Jiangxi province, to strengthen cooperation in geological prospecting and mining.

The partnership is expected to facilitate the across-the-board upgrading of mineral prospecting in Jiangxi and make breakthroughs in prospecting and techniques.

Chalco Mineral Resources is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Aluminum Corp. of China, or Chalco （601600.SH; ACH.NYSE; 02600.HK）, the country's leading alumina and primary aluminum producer.
