China Copper Imports Up 3.8% In Oct.

China imported 274,000 tons of unwrought copper and copper products in October, up 3.8 percent year-on-year but down 25.8 percent month-on-month, wrote the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on its website.

In October, China imported 71,000 tons of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products, down 17.9 percent year-on-year and 7.5 percent year-on-year.

China’s alumina import volume rose 9.8 percent year-on-year or 45.2 percent month-on-month to 450,000 tons in October.

Shares of Jiangxi Cooper （600362） fell 4.60 percent to 39.43 yuan by 14:27.
