HONG KONG Nov 10 (Reuters) - Aluminum Corp of China Ltd (Chalco) (2600.HK: Quote)(601600.SS: Quote) has raised its spot price for alumina by 5.5 percent to 2,900 yuan per tonne, according to a notice on the company's website.
Chalco, the country's top aluminium producer and the world's third-largest alumina maker, said on Wednesday that the increase would take immediate effect.
This will be the second price rise since August, when the company lifted its alumina price by 3.8 percent to 2,750 yuan per tonne.
