Baoshan Iron & Steel Co. （600019 CH）, the listed unit of China’s second-biggest steelmaker, rose 1.2 percent to 6.54 yuan. Hebei Iron & Steel Co. （000709 CH）, the listed unit of China’s biggest steelmaker, dropped 0.3 percent to 3.82 yuan.

Aluminum Corp. of China Ltd. （601600 CH）: The company said parent Aluminum Corp. of China will gain control of Jiangxi Rare Earth & Rare Metals Tungsten Group Corp. by way of a capital increase and new share subscription. Aluminum Corp. of China Ltd., the listed unit of nation’s biggest maker of the lightweight metal and also called Chalco, jumped 7.5 percent to 11.70 yuan.
