Aluminum capacitor Taiwan Chinsan Electronic Industrial has announced consolidated revenues of NT$290.58 million (US$9.12 million) for August 2010, up 4% sequentially but down 1.7% on year.
Accumulated revenues for the January-August period reached NT$2.15 billion, increasing 17% from a year earlier, according to company data.
Due to an ongoing adjustment of its product mix, Chinsan is expected to see its revenues grow in a range from 0-5% in the third quarter, according to an estimate by industry sources.
Meanwhile, Chinsan has also entered the supply chain for PV inverters and revenues generated from the sales of PV inverters currently account for 10% of Chinsan's total revenues, the sources noted.
