The Bahrain Exhibition and Convention Authority （BECA） took part in the Aluminium China 2010.
This followed directives from His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.
It was also part of BECA's strategy to ensure the presence of leading companies in such global events, particularly Alba and Gulf Aluminium Rolling Mill Company.
Aluminium China is a major industrial event held in Shanghai and brought together more than 320 exhibitors from 32 aluminium-producing countries, including Bahrain.
Over 10,000 visitors from all over the world converged on the global exhibition to witness the latest strides in the sector.
Professionals also met top suppliers of raw materials, semi-finished and finished products, and surface treatment.
They held talks with producers of machinery, plant and equipment for aluminium processing and manufacturing, light metals trade and information service providers.
