Chinese aluminium demand seen triple in 2020

Reuters reported that Chinese demand for primary aluminium is likely to nearly triple to 43.6 million tonnes in 2020 from an estimated 15.5 million tonnes this year.

The Japan Aluminium Association said that it compiled the data for China based on historic trends as it is the world's largest consumer of the industrial metal and its demand has global implications.
