Crude makes low of $68.86/bbl today

Crude declined for ninth straight session and saw longest declining streak in 8 years. On Friday, crude prices closed down 1% at $69.87/bbl. It made a low of $68.86/bbl today. Long positions in Nymex declined 11% in previous week. By Manisha Gupta, Commodities Editor at CNBC-TV18 Base metals Base metals were steady after positive Chinese and US data. Copper was up 0.5% at $6835/tonne on Friday. Aluminium was at 14-month high at $2200/tonne. 70% aluminium inventories tied till May, 2010. Crude Crude declined for ninth straight session and saw longest declining streak in 8 years. Japan Tankan Index took prices lower. On Friday, crude prices closed down 1% at $69.87/bbl. It made a low of $68.86/bbl today. Long positions in Nymex declined 11% in previous week. Gold Gold was at 4-week low and closed at $1114/oz on Friday. It made a low of $1109/ounce today.
