China's aluminum refiners put 350,000 tons of smelting capacity on hold over July and August

Shanghai. August 29. INTERFAX-CHINA - At least 350,000 tons of aluminum smelting capacity were idle over the months of July and August, but this did little to support the bearish domestic aluminum market, an analyst told Interfax on Aug. 28.
