China's aluminum enterprises operating under capacity

BEIJING, Jul 09, 2008 (Xinhua via COMTEX News Network) -- China's aluminum products enterprises, especially smaller ones, have been operating under capacity since May, according to CBI China's survey on 36 aluminum product enterprises. The operation rate of large enterprises is comparatively stable, thanks to high credibility and market demand. However, the operation rate of small and medium-sized enterprises fell remarkably, with rate of medium-sized enterprises declining 13 percentage points from 98 percent in April, and small-sized enterprises sliding 19 percentage points to 60.73 percent since April.
