Chinese alumina production totals 14.472 million tons in Jan-Sep

Shanghai, Nov 5 – China produces 14.472 million tons alumina between January and September, up 53.86 percent year on year. The aluminum smelter industry (except for aluminium fabrication business) gains profit of CNY25.06 billion in the first eight month, rose by 39.83 percent compared with the same period last year.
