Alfe Starting Up Aluminum Processing System

Alfe Heat Treating has commissioned the release and start-up of a high-production aluminum processing system. The equipment, which is housed in a newly constructed facility located in Charlotte, N.C., is capable of large payloads with the benefit of a fully automated operating system. The aluminum capability includes solution, quench, aging, annealing and stress relieving cycles.

The North Carolina facility provides a central location between North and South Carolina and is accessible by two major interstates  to ease transportation concerns. Alfe offers pickup, delivery and drop forward shipping. The heat-treating equipment was commissioned by Alfe Systems (Columbia City, Ind.), which specializes in the design, construction and calibration of the entire aluminum furnace system.
