BEIJING--The Shanghai Futures Exchange Friday said it has set the listing benchmark price for its new zinc futures contracts at CNY28,510 a metric ton.
The price applies to July 2007 to March 2008 contracts, the exchange said in a statement published on its Web site.
The exchange earlier said it will start trading zinc futures Monday.
Copper, aluminum, natural rubber and fuel oil futures are currently traded on the SHFE, which also plans to launch steel futures.
The commodities futures contracts traded on the exchange are off-limits to foreign investors.
