MARKET TALK: SHFE Copper Up A Tad; To Consolidate This Wk

Copper futures on Shanghai Futures Exchange up a tad, "as it was a bit oversold yesterday, and LME 3-month seems to have found technical support around $5,600, at least for now," says GF Futures analyst Feng Baojun; tips consolidation at current levels this week after last week's tumble, though further losses still possible after consolidation period amid concerns demand may lag supply this year. Benchmark March 2007 contract at CNY53,050/ton, up CNY310; LME 3-month +$4 at $5,610/ton.
