MARKET TALK: Aluminum's Outlook Favorable - Credit Suisse

Aluminum's short-term outlook favorable as has yet to rise as much as other base metals, despite supportive fundamentals, says Credit Suisse's Tobias Merath; says worldwide demand growing "unimpeded" while inventories tightening, production has "stagnated" since start of 2006 due to high costs. Aluminum also to benefit from use as substitute for copper. Merath warns with supply tighter, "even slight changes in the supply/demand outlook can now lead to greater swings in prices." LME 3-month +$15 on London Friday PM kerb at $2,797/ton.
