MARKET TALK: SHFE Aluminum Up;Chalco Price Cut Ignored

Aluminum on Shanghai Futures Exchange up in late morning, supported by robust domestic physical demand, LME aluminum gains Thursday, says Maike Futures' Haihua Shen. Says Chalco's alumina price cut of 18.6% fails to pressure market, as cut already factored in by traders on Tuesday. Benchmark January +CNY120 at CNY19,820/ton. SHFE copper falling on market talk in morning that recent copper imports increased. Benchmark January copper down CNY580 at CNY67,400/ton.
