According to statistics, Canada exported around 157,000 tons of aluminum scrap to the US in the first half of this year, sliding by 17.37% compared to the same period a year ago.
In the second quarter, Canada’s aluminum scrap exports to the US reached approximately 67,400 tons, surging by 296.5% from the previous quarter, mainly due to the fact that Canada’s demand has been impacted by the COVID-19 epidemic, while the production still kept stable.
