According to reports from the US Geological Survey, Canada exported a total of around 220,000 tons of aluminum, including scrap, to the US in January 2020, rising by 32.53% compared to the same month a year ago, while dropping by 19.71% from the previous month.
During the same period, Canada’s exports of aluminum semi-finished products to the US, such as plates, sheets, bars, and so on, amounted to approximately 255 tons and those of scrap were around 6,200 tons, sliding by 98.32% and 80.53% year on year respectively.
