Alcan US March transaction price holds at $1.33/lb

NEW YORK, March 1 - Alcan Inc., the world's second-largest maker of primary aluminum, said its posted U.S. March transaction price for aluminum products held steady at $1.33 per pound from the previous month.

Alcan said its price for 99.7 remelt was unchanged at $1.33 a lb, while its 6063 extrusion billet price was flat at $1.43 a lb.
