Canadian Primary Aluminium Production For November

The Aluminium Association of Canada announced that primary aluminum production in Canada declined four-tenths of one percent in November to an annual rate of 3,069,638 metric tons, a decrease of 11,857 metric tons from the October rate of 3,081,495 metric tons. Compared to a year ago, the annual rate of production was up 1.1 percent over the November 2005 annual rate of 3,037,360 metric tons. Actual production in November totaled 252,299 metric tons and 2,789,183 metric tons through eleven months. Year-to-date, primary production is up 5.8 percent over the same period of last year.
