ZURICH (AFX) - Swiss engineering group Georg Fischer AG announced the acquisition of Canadian aluminium foundry EDC Inc for an undisclosed sum.
The foundry's pressure die casting operations produce light-metal components for the US automotive industry and other industrial sectors, Georg Fischer said.
The Montreal-based company generates annual sales of over 10 mln sfr and employs 85 staff.
