Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba)’s commitment to enrich its customers, suppliers and stakeholders with focused information and more insights about the company received an added impetus with the launch of a new look website that went live on Thursday, March 15, 2012.
The design of the website – which can be accessed on www.albasmelter.com – involved a complete revamp of the content combined with an intuitive interface tailored to maximise the user experience for site visitors.
The all new Alba website provides data on products and processes, step by step guide on vendor registration, interactive history timeline, news and events, sections that highlight Alba’s social responsibility amongst a wide array of information.
One key addition to the website is a dedicated Investor Relations section that offers comprehensive information that would be of interest to current and potential investors.
Commenting on the launch of the new look website, Alba’s Chief Executive, Laurent Schmitt said:
“The launch of the new website is part of Alba’s ongoing initiative to strengthen information channels with external audiences spread across the globe. It has been designed to provide users with a richer and more user-friendly experience while accessing data. Integrating clean aesthetics with strong functionality, the website offers opportunity to express the importance Alba gives to openness and transparency through its clean look and strong emphasis on white.”
The new Alba website will also include multimedia content like the company’s corporate video and will also be connected to social media tools. Two Bahrain based companies were involved in developing the website – from initial design to building the technical infrastructure.
