Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba)’s support for strengthening broader cultural and social tie between Bahrain and Pakistan was discussed during a visit by a 22-member delegation from Pakistan Navy to the Alba plant on Monday, March 19, 2012.
The delegation was from the 41st Pakistan Navy Staff Course organised for senior naval officers at the Pakistan Navy War College, Lahore, Pakistan. The delegation was led by members of the faculty, Cdre. Ayaz Nabi Dar, Cdr. Jawad Ahmed, Cdr. M. Asghar Butt and Cdr. Tanveer Ahmed, and were accompanied by the Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Aurangzeb and other embassy officials.
Investor & Public Relations Manager, Eline Hilal welcomed the delegation, Operational Excellence Manager, Mohd Shuja as well as the Financial Accounting & Controlling Manager, Mansoor Afzal.
Commenting on the visit of the Pakistani Naval delegation, Alba’s Chief Executive Laurent Schmitt said:

The Pakistani Naval delegation was given a tour around different facilities at the plant, and also briefed on the aluminium production process. They were also given a presentation on the company’s credentials as a corporate citizen, environmental commitment, safety policies, adherence to quality and its contribution to Bahrain’s economy.
