Aluminum Bahrain wins international safety award for fourth time

Manama, May 26 (BNA) Aluminum Bahrain (Alba) continues to win international awards for maintaining a high track record for safety and enforcing strict environmental guidelines. It has been granted the International Safety Award 2009 for the fourth consecutive time by the British Safety Council.

The prize is the second given to the smelter for the fourth successive time this year after receiving a safety and vocational health award by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (ROSPA) last month.
