manama: A research by an international company has affirmed the viability of listing some of Aluminium Bahrain's (Alba) shares on the stock market, pending government's approval, Alba chairman Dr Esam Fakhro told our sister paper Akhbar Al Khaleej.
He said surge in commodity prices was linked to the rise in oil prices, and called for an end to the accusations between merchants and consumers. A BD20 pay raise for employees is not the answer, he said, calling for radical solutions.
Dr Fakhro also stressed the need for privatisation so that the private sector can take the lead role in the national economy.
