The Chairman of the board of directors, Dr Esam Abdullah Fakhro (pictures), said that the new production target would be achieved soon as the gas supply deal with Qatar through pipeline was finalised.

Dr Fakhro said that he was hopeful that the deal with Qatar for supply of gas to Alba would be finalised soon paving the way to achieve the new target of production. Dr Fakhro, addressing the Luxembourg economic delegation led by Jeannot Krecke the Minister for Economy, Commerce and Foreign Trade, said that at present Alba's exports constitute 50 per cent of its production capacity.
