Metro Mining plans to restart bauxite mining in Apr 2021

   Metro Mining Limited, an Australia-based exploration and mining company, planned to restart its bauxite mining project this April, which was closed in mid-September 2020 due to the rainy season, in order to fulfill the supply contract signed with China's Xinfa Group, for a total volume of 7 million tons of bauxite.

  In the third quarter of 2020, Metro Mining’s sales revenue was A$61.9 million. The firm’s bauxite mining volume was around 1.06 million wet tons, and the delivery was 1.23 million wet tons. In the first three quarters, Metro Mining shipped a total of roughly 2.48 million wet tons of bauxite.
