Lindian Resources, an Australian mineral exploration company, announced the size of its Bouba Plateaux project in Guinea, saying that the Gaoul Project there was predicted to yield 102 million tons of 49.5% alumina with 84 million tons of high-grade 51.2% alumina.
The operation also has several advantages since it’s located near existing bauxite operations that are close to the necessary infrastructure. This will help to bring the alumina-rich ore to the market faster.
In addition to that, the Guinean government is also expecting the market of bauxite ore reserves and its promising mining operations as that would eventually help to build out the necessary infrastructure.
