Bauxite Resources Ltd (ASX:BAU.AX - News) has appointed Sam Middlemas Acting CEO following the recent departure of Scott Donaldson. The process of appointing a permanent CEO continues and Mr Middlemas will remain until a permanent appointment is made which is expected to take place in the near future.
Mr Middlemas was appointed Company Secretary on 8 July 2012 and he will also continue in this role.
Mr Middlemas is a Chartered Accountant with more than 25 years experience in various CFO and Company Secretarial roles with a number of listed public companies operating in the resources sector. He is the principal of a corporate advisory company which provides financial and board services specialising in the mining industry. He is currently Chairman of the ASX and TSX listed Elemental Minerals Limited and has held other Director positions in ASX listed Companies in the past.
The Board is pleased to have an Executive of the calibre of Mr Middlemas to guide the Company until a permanent CEO can be appointed.
