The Second International Conference and Exhibition "Aluminium-21/Coatings"

The second international Forum of leaders in finishing of metall surface treatment, that is devoted to the processes and equipment for coating, "Aluminium-21/Coatings" will be held on May 31 - June 2, 2011 in Sokos Palace Bridge Hotel, Saint Petersburg, Russia. The first conference was successfully held on June 6-8, 2006 in Moscow, Russia.  

This Forum is officially supported by Aluminium Extruders Association （AEA） （Russia）, ESTAL, QUALICOAT, QUALANOD, GSB International （Germany）, All-Russian Association of Corrosion Engineers （VAKOR） （Russia）, A.N. Frumkin Institute of Physical Chemistry and Electrochemistry of the Russian Academy of Science （Russia）.                       

For the first time ever there will be a master class devoted to the advanced technologies of sealing and etching in anodizing. The master class will be held in the frames of the conference by the representatives of Chemetall GmbH company - one of the world leading producers of chemicals for metal surface treatment. On the third conference day the participants will attend the modern plants on aluminium anodizing and powder coatings in Saint Petersburg - "New Technologies" and Gatchina Powder Coatings Plant "PrimaTek".       

The presentation of the first in Russia fundamental handbook "The Surface Treatment and Finishing of Aluminium and its Alloys" （the original English book by P.G. Sheasby and R. Pinner） will be held on May 31. This book is very much and long-expected by all Russian-speaking aluminium coating, anodizing, surface treatment specialists. More details…   

Traditionally, the Conference participants will enjoy an extensive social program which includes a sightseeing tour of Saint-Petersburg, visits to the Hermitage, the Russian museum, tour of Jusupovsky palace, a trip to Peterhof and Tsarskoe selo and other prominent and beautiful places of interest in Saint Petersburg and its suburbs.
