Invest in Bahrain 2010 to Open on September 29

Manama Sep 19 （BNA） Bahrain will host an important forum late this month to showcase its investment potential. Industry and Commerce Minister Dr Hassan Abdulla Fakhro will patronise the "Invest in Bahrain 2010", scheduled to open on September 29 at the Bahrain Exhibition and Convention Authority.

The event will showcase the Government-led drive to project Bahrain as a key investment hub to reckon with in the region. The ministry is coordinating the forum with the Economic Development Board, the Central Bank of Bahrain, the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Bahrain Development Bank. Bahrain's investment potentials will be in the sectors of engineering, construction, aluminum downstream, fiberglass, food industries and electronic commerce will be showcased. The ministry has invited leading Bahraini and GCC industrialists and investors to take part in the forum, alongside a group of Indian businessmen, who will outline their projects.
