The wide assortment of activated alumina formulated by us is of top-notch quality and can be regenerated to its original adsorpt
The gamut of activated alumina & activated alumina desiccant offered by us is of excellent quality and has large surface areas. This large surface area provides an excellent adsorbents, catalysts and catalyst support. The range is physically and chemically stable and has high porous Aluminum Oxide. Also, it is chemically inert to the most of gases and liquids.
Typical Applications
Gas dehydration: Acetylene, Air, Ammonia, Argon, Carbon Dioxide, Ethane, Helium, Hydrogen, Natural Gas, Nitrogen, Propane, Saturated and Unsaturated Hydrocarbon mixtures of various molecular weights
Liquid dehydration: Benzene, Butane, Butene, Bromine Chloride, Carbon Tetrachloride, Heptane, Hexane, HF Alkylation Fed, Napthas, Pentane, Propane, Propylene, Refrigerants, Transformer Oils
Shelf life: Activated Alumina has indefinite storage life if properly stored in dry covered place. Desiccant service life depends on the composition of the stream to be dehydrated, the system and the operating conditions
Our Activated Alumina Balls are low dusting, high capacity desiccant especially for use Hi package dryers.
Activated Alumina Balls have high moisture adsorption capacity
Less energy is required for regeneration. The regeneration temperature is between 140 C to 21OC
It works well in heat less air dryers because of its ease of desorption, high resistance to attrition and high crushing strength
Activated Alumina has excellent thermal stability
For removal of oil vapor from compressed air or gases
For drying compressed air (instrument air)/gases and high pressure air feed to oxygen plant
Shipping Information: It is available in beads form and is offered in 50 Kg packs of Steel drum with inner polyethylene bags
