This enterprise has specially established a development and research center for metallurgical equipment to develop new processes,new technologies and new equipment in combination of its manufacturing practices.In 1998,it succeeded in developing BYJ14-roller mill,which passed the technical achievement assessment organized by Beijing Municipal Committee of Science and Technology in 2000.For years,over 20 sets of BYJ14-roller mills have been sold domestically and overseas and the 14-roller mills have played significant role in the cold rolling industry of precision stainless steel strip.Its comprehensive technical indexes are equal to those of overseas 20-roller mill and reaches the world advanced level.Stainless steel precision strips,which have been widely used in precision manufacturing industries like electronics,communications,instruments and appliances,have won accreditation from domestic and overseas customers and have been credited as a best precision strip roller mill.
Starting from 2002,the Center,apart from extending 14-roller mill and auxiliary devices,has been developing new-type 12-roller mill,which is mainly used for cold rolling of 1250mm common carbon steel plate and has been put into use.In 2005,it developed 20-roller cold rolling mill,which was put into use in Beijing in 2006.The comprehensive performance indexes of 20-roller unit has reached international level of counterpart products and filled up the blank of domestic similar product.
Meanwhile,the follow-up precision and complete mills for cold rolling steel strips like horizontal bright continuous heat treatment set,vertical bright heat treatment set,flattener,tension-bending leveler set,have all been put to market and have gained sound social and economicprofits.
