In addition to providing safe, reliable, simple-to-use flame AA operation, the AAnalyst 100 spectrometer can also run furnace determinations directly with the optional HGA-800 graphite furnace and autosampler using the standard keyboard. A quick-disconnect flame module simplifies changeover to HGA furnace operation where the furnace and autosampler are mounted on a sampling arm that can be easily rotated into the sample area. The optional deuterium arc background correction system automatically provides simultaneous correction for molecular absorption and light-scattering at combined atomic absorption plus background absorption levels as high as 3 absorbance units.
