It is a hard and tough material, used in manufacturing ofgrinding wheels (both vitrified and resin bonded) and coated products. Thesegrains are also used for shot blasting and as polishing media. Refractory gradeBFA is used as a raw material in the manufacture of high alumina refractories.It is available in grit sizes as per FEPA for abrasive applications and groupgrits for refractory applications.
