We have been handling bubble alumina coarse for many years. It is made of fused aluminium oxide powder, hollow balls from 0.2-5mm, with good service temperature about 1700 degrees and excellent insulation function. It is used to make bubble alumina bricks and insulation castables for the permanent liners in industrial furnaces.
