CHALCO shandong branch has 2 advanced rotary calciners, wtih a combined capacity of 100kmt.
Combined with state of the art process control equipment we are able to produce a range of high alpha alumina grades with controlled soda chemistry, surface area and particle size distributions.
Our alumina products are used in a wide range of refractory applications, such as: fired shapes, monolthics and pre-case shapes used in foundry, iron and steel making applications.
Ceramic grades are used in the manufacture of grinding media, glazes, technical and advanced ceramics.
Alpha alumina is also used in surface treatment applications, careful control of physical properties allow its use as a metal polish and buffer in addition to other surfaces that require a specific finish.
