Melting & Holding Furnaces
Applications:
Melting and holding non-ferrous metals (Al-alloy & Cu-alloy).
General Types:
Non-ferrous melting and holding furnaces are generally designed in two types; fixed and with automatic vacuuming, and with regard to energy saving, they are designed in two types; with electric energy and with gas burner.
Specifications:
Appropriate sealing and energy loss prevention
Swedish KANTHAL elements in varied thermal grades
Designing of exit path for molten emergency exit at the time of possible crucible damage
Power control system and fully-electronic circuit with no harmony interference in the network
TYPE K thermocouple with ceramic cover behind the crucible
The capability of thermocouple installation inside the molten with strong covers against electric shock and erosion.
The capability of double-purpose designing as melting or holding, based on energy saving rate
Crucibles:
Crucibles are mostly of two types; graphite or SIC of reliable brand names. Crucible types are chosen based on the melting alloy type and melting temperature. In furnaces equipped with automatic-vacuuming system, crucibles with spouts and in other furnaces crucibles without spouts are used.
