White Aluminum Oxide/White Fused Alumina/White Corundum for Sand Blasting Abrasive

White fused alumina is made of alumina powder in high temperature smelting and crushing in electric arc furnace.

Specific gravity: 3.9g/cm3 white or slightly powdery

Performance characteristics: high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, hardness, high strength, abrasion resistance, good crystallization and good cutting function.

Usage: Abrasives, grinding quenched alloy steel, high speed steel and so on. It is also used for ceramics, sandblasting, polishing, grinding wheels and sandpaper.

White fused alumina / White Corundum  is high grade refractory material , which made from the high quality alumina by melting above 2000 ºC in the electric arc furnace and cooling.White fused alumina Occupying higher hardness and slightly lower toughness compared with Brown Fused Alumina, it is characterised by its high purity,  better cutting,ability of self-sharpening, less heat emit during grinding, higher efficiency,acid and alkali resistance, and good thermal stability. Abrasive tools made of it are suitable for grinding high-speed, high carbon steel,etc.
